The Warlord Batu Khan.  Standing in triumph, his enemy’s Standard still attached to a broken spear lying in the grime under his feet.  His garb is a white undershirt covered by chain mail from neck and upper arms to his knees; over this he wears a sleeveless blue surcoat with yellow decorations.  Baggy trousers and brown boots with red tassels are visible below and his helmet with a nose extension has a long

leather neck guard.  In his hand he carries an evil looking mace, his other hand clutching the scabbard of his sword.  A bow and quiver of arrows are carried on his back.  A 75mm Post Militaire figure signed on the base: D. Holmes 1987.  Superb.
