Description de l’Egypte: Alexandrie, plate #88, by Balzac.  Published c.1829 and engraved in Paris by Legouaz, approximately 35 1/2 x 47 1/2 inches  superbly hand coloured (aquaforte Beaugean) and with magnificent gold frame.  The full title at the bottom beneath the engraving reads: Vue du Port Neuf prise en mer du Cote du Nord (top panel) Vue du Port Vieux prise en rade du cote du Sud-Ouest (bottom panel).  V.FINE
