Soldier with Revolutionary Standard, c.1776.  Walking forward looking over his shoulder with the standard streaming out behind him.  The standard has a blue field with a red cross on a white background at the corner; a pine tree is in the top quarter formed by the arms of the cross.  The uniform coat is blue with red collar, cuffs and facings and white cross belts and backpacks.  Trousers are buff and tricorn hat is plain.  His left hand holding a musket has been repaired at the wrist.  VG
