Letter authorizing the commencement of a Military and Naval expedition in the Mediterranean, signed by Joseph Bonaparte, at Naples, 1808.  Single page ALS, addressed to un-named Admiral concerning the embarkation of 10,000 troops at Naples for the Reggio expedition.  The letter, written from Naples is dated 25th February 1808, is mounted together with a B&W engraving of Joseph Bonaparte, within a fine gilt frame 14 ¼ x 18 ½ inches.
