Grenadier a Cheval, c.1810.  Known as the ‘Gros Bots’ due to the long black boots that were part of the uniform.  Standing with his sword resting on his shoulder, the other hand gripping the scabbard, his long tailed blue coat has white facings and red turn backs with orange grenades sewn on; epaulettes, cords and bearskin raquettes are orange and the plume red; the trousers are buff.  His hair is powdered and held with a black ribbon in a short queue.  A 75mm figure, signed on the base: D.
