Prussian 1st Leib Husaren Regiment on Parade, c.1890.  Oil on board painting by Franch master, Eugene Liliepvre, 14 1/2 x 17 1/2 inches and framed. Set in a street scene with a small group of fashionable ladies and gentlemen watching from the roadside; the Officer is seen at the centre followed by the Regiment on white horses, with lances.  The ornate wooden frame is 25 x 28 inches, with black velvet and gold liner.  The painting is signed Eugene Lilipvre in the bottom right corner; a magnificent work of art.
