Certificate of Appointment: Chevalier De La Legion d’Honneur, signed Macdonald.  The Document under the heading Ordre Royal de la Legion D’Honneur, is dated 24^th Mai 1818 but  most unusually backdated to October 1813.  The award names: M. deZychlinsky (Leopold Ferd.) Capitaine d’Infanterie Legere Saxonne.  The document is marked  #11981 from the Office of the Grande Chacellerie and signed Macdonald, who held the Office of Grand Chancellor from 1815 to 1831, longer than any other holder of that Office.  With old tear at right edge through the last letter of signature and beneath repaired many years ago.
