Description de l’Egypte: Alexandrie, plate #97, by Dutetre.  Published c.1829 and engraved in Paris, approximately 14 1/4 x 38 1/4 inches plus titles top and bottom within the plate mark, with further wide margins as original.  With two fold marks (with pencil notation at the bottom ‘Burnish down crease before mounting) and superbly hand coloured.  The full title at the bottom beneath the engraving reads: Vue de L’Esplanade ou Grande Place du Port Neuf et de L’Encente des Arabes, Premiere Partie.  V.FINE
